Chiara Elisei is Co-Deputy Editor at Debtwire Europe and heads up the restructuring desk. She started at Debtwire in 2008, reporting on distressed and restructuring situations across Europe. Since then, she has been leading on a number of new editorial initiatives, including getting the court coverage off the ground, and spent eight months in the New York office to help improve cross border collaboration. She often moderates panels at conferences and has been chairing Debtwire events. Prior to joining Debtwire, she worked as a reporter at Italian newspapers Corriere della Sera and Il Messaggero, and national broadcasting company RAI, covering current news and international affairs. Chiara graduated in Classics at Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa and Pisa University. In June 2010 she also got a PhD in Classics at Scuola Normale Superiore.
